1. Logic Pro rescans on next launch. It lives in the MIDI FX slot of a software-instrument track — the slot that sees the track's notes. The notes pass straight through to the instrument.
2. Ableton Live: Preferences › Plug-Ins › Rescan. Drop it on its own MIDI track and set that track's MIDI From to the part you want charted.
3. First open asks for your serial — the one shown right after checkout at trevbeatsmultimedia.com/webapps/chartmakr (or recover it there with the email you paid with). Type it once; it is remembered on this Mac and works offline for a week at a time.
